The beauty of the 10/22 is the plethora of aftermarket accessories available. I have had my eye on the ruger 10/22 sporter model. For over 50 years, the ruger ® 10/22 ® has been america's favorite.22 rifle.

Does anyone here have experience shooting one? 22 lr stock black synthetic; Other than external difference including stock material the addition of sling attachments checkering etc.

The only difference is the barrel on the sporter is 1/2 inch longer than the carbine. I really want a.22 with sights that i can also put a scope on so i have the best of both worlds.
