IV. Finance / Fund Raising/Communication Committee:

Goals:

· To inform donors of the organization’s mission, of the way the organization intends to use donated resources and of its capacity to use donations effectively for their intended purposes.

· To ensure appropriate acknowledgement and recognition is made to every donor

· To organize fund raising events and to develop creative fund raising strategies

· To seek ways to increase MEDA’s membership and participation in MEDA activities

· To nurture and sustain relationships with individual donors and/or organizations of interest, and to market MEDA-USA projects, products and services to potential donors and consumers.

· To seek twining or sisterhood relationships between Organizations or US City /County governments with Moghamo

· To work closely with the Convention Planning Committee on fund raising details during National Conventions
